(Cover) - EN Showbiz - David Beckham says that he can't think of retiring from football yet because of his daughter Harper's expensive wardrobe.

The athlete is married to fashion designer Victoria Beckham and they have three other children; Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

But David told The Today Show that he has to remain successful to fund the family's lifestyle and added that his longed-for baby girl is completely running the Beckham household.

"[I'm] totally [wrapped around her finger]," David gushed. "The moment she was born, I think me and the boys, we were all done."

"Her wardrobe is unbelievable. It's amazing. I think that's why I have to keep playing!"

David also reiterated his desire to play for Great Britain's football team at the London Olympics and says he ignores critics who assert that he would only get picked because of his celebrity status.

"I don't really take too much interest in those kinds of comments," the hunky star said. "But I have said that I felt that those comments are disrespectful, because I've had kind of a successful career with what I do." (C) Cover Media
