(Cover) - EN Showbiz - David Hasselhoff had a different woman for every night of the week after his divorce was finalised.

The American actor, who is best known for his roles as Michael Knight in US series Knight Rider and lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in hit show Baywatch, enjoyed his freedom after ending his marriage with his second wife Pamela Bach.

The star filed for divorce in 2006, and has joked that he enjoyed single life with a number of eligible women.

"A bit," he confessed, when asked if he dated a lot since his divorce. "Sometimes I'd go out with a woman one night, then later she'd see a picture of me with another girl in the paper, call me and say What's going on?' and I'd say You were Tuesday.'"

Despite enjoying his bachelor lifestyle after the collapse of his second marriage, David is a very faithful and committed individual. The 58-year-old, who is currently dating Hayley Roberts, 31, insists he only stuck with the marriage because of his two daughters Taylor and Hayley.

"That's not my nature. When I was married, I stayed in it because I felt I had a commitment, as difficult as it was. I tried to leave a number of times, but I kept going back. Being away from the children was too hard. I knew I had to do it in the end because it wasn't right," he told British magazine Hello!

David's fame diminished after the end of Baywatch and Knight Rider. Despite sinking into obscurity, the confident television personality insists he knew his celebrity lifestyle hadn't come to an end.

"I knew it would all come back. You create your own environment. If you want drama, go ahead. When I let go and walk the path I know I should walk and let life unravel, God or the universe or whatever takes care of you," he explained. (C) Cover Media
