The 65-year-old singer-songwriter is best known for being the front woman of iconic rock group Blondie, who first achieved success in the 70s. The blonde star is famed for her edgy look and stunning features, and is always outspoken when it comes to talking about style.

The musician has always been closely associated with 70s fashion, and wasnt a fan of the flowery and full more feminine creations which had been on offer before she and her peers revolutionised style.

I always felt that I was ahead of the curve, she told Grazia magazine. We just felt like we wanted to do something different. We were all very interested in and influenced by the 60s and that more streamlined look, and what we were coming out against was very flowery and full.
