South Indian actress, Deepika Padukone, made her debut in a female lead role, in a Kannada movie, opposite Upendra. However, her success in Bollywood has takien her away from Kannada cinema. She is now foraying into Tamil film industry in the movie 'Rana' with Superstar Rajnikanth. Her younger sister Sanchitha is now also getting into Kollywood with a film that is going to be directed by a controversial director, Saamy. For the first time, he'll be coming up with a decent family entertainer. The film is titled 'Chitthiram'. The rest of the crewmembers are yet to be finalized. Says Saamy: 'I think shouldn't have been making similar movies and I have decided to make a change now…'
