(Cover) - EN Fashion - Demi Lovato says Rihanna is her biggest fashion inspiration.

The singer is currently touring with the Jonas Brothers, and has wowed fans with her stage outfits. She has tried to create a new, edgier, image for herself, and is pleased with how the look has gone done.

Demi decided to branch out with her clothing choices after watching Rihanna’s style metamorphosis. Rihanna is famed for her changing hair styles and dedication to cutting-edge trends, and Demi wanted to emulate her.

“I feel like it is more Rihanna than Lady Gaga. I'm a huge Rihanna fan and I also love spikes and anything leather," she told MTV News. "And I have this crazy jewellery. Actually this one [ring] is pretty crazy [with all its spikes], and the bracelets have twice as many spikes. Overall, I guess you can say there's a ton of spikes in my wardrobe.”

Demi picked the pieces for her tour in a single day, and loved every second of it. She has a black dress decorated with feathers which has been likened to something Lady Gaga would wear, which made her laugh. She is not as experimental with her costumes as Gaga, revealing this tour is the first time she has worn spindly heels on stage as she was previously always worried she might fall over.

“When it comes to picking out outfits for the tour, I had a rack that filled out an entire warehouse,” she said. “I just went through it and it took me like six, seven hours to fit all the outfits for the tour. It was fun.” (C) Cover Media
