Demi Moore's daughter Rumer reportedly "begged" her mother to get help following her dramatic break-up from Ashton Kutcher.

The actress had a difficult time in 2011, culminating in her decision to divorce Ashton Kutcher following allegations he was unfaithful on their sixth wedding anniversary.

Demi has since been pictured looking increasingly frail. Sources have now claimed her daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis, Rumer, 23, Scout, 20 and Tallulah, 17, are eager for her to get help in order to ease her turmoil.

"Rumer begged her to consider getting help, but Demi thinks that's just for drug abusers and alcoholics. Rumer even asked Bruce to intervene as he and Demi are close," a source told UK magazine Closer.

"She says she's dealing with the break-up as best she can, but it's obviously badly knocked her confidence."

Demi has lost a startlingly large amount of weight since her split from Ashton. A source close to the star says she is struggling to maintain a healthy appetite.

"Demi's hardly eaten a meal in months and she's barely managing three hours' sleep a night," the insider revealed.

"It's giving her terrible headaches. She had eye problems as a child as it gets worse with stress."
