(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Demi Moore is said to be "so excited" about starring as a seductress opposite Alex Pettyfer.

The 48-year-old American actress has met with director Steven Soderbergh to discuss starring in his upcoming movie Magic Mike.

Demi would star as a seductress in the movie which Alex is starring in. The 21-year-old British actor will play a young stripper in the movie which is based on actor Channing Tatum's pre-Hollywood life.

Channing, who entered the world of stripping when he was 19-years-old, will appear as mentor Mike in the upcoming picture.

After reading the script, Demi - who is best known for her roles in Ghost, Indecent Proposal and Disclosure - is reportedly keen to get involved.

"Demi met with Steven Soderbergh at Soho House in West Hollywood last week to discuss the film, and she loved it," a source told E! Online. "She's so excited about the role."

The script is currently in the process of being written by Reid Carolin, who has worked with Channing on three past projects. The venture is currently being independently funded and Steven has previously called it "one of the best ideas I've ever heard for a movie". (C) Cover Media
