Demi Moore shared a "sweet moment" with daughter Rumer on a night out.

The duo hit the Hollywood party scene with a group of friends and danced the night away at Beacher's Madhouse club in California.

Demi was reportedly sipping on energy drink Red Bull and was spotted dancing on the sofa to Eurhythmics classic Sweet Dreams.

At one point, Demi and her 23-year-old daughter shared a "sweet moment" when they shared what was described to American publication People as a "huge hug".

Demi and Rumer were said to have stayed close to each other all night.

The newly-single actress was dressed to the nines in a black pleated skirt and black flats.

Following her shocking split from husband Ashton Kutcher last year, the 49-year-old was not wearing her wedding band on the night out.

The beautiful brunette star reportedly looked in good spirits and enjoyed a flirt with 90210 actor Ryan Rottman.

The night out follows reports that Ashton and Demi were "100 per cent normal" when they ran into each other at a pre-Golden Globe Awards party.

The former couple are getting divorced following allegations Ashton was unfaithful on their sixth wedding anniversary.
