(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Denise Richards has adopted a newborn baby girl.

The 40-year-old actress revealed her surprise news to U.S. publication People magazine saying she felt "incredibly blessed".

Already mother to two daughters, Sam, seven, and Lola, five, from her marriage to actor Charlie Sheen, Denise has added another girl to her family.

"Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise's mom (Joni), and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise," the star's representative said.

"Denise and Eloise's big sisters couldn't be happier and feel incredibly blessed."

Her new daughter's name is in tribute to Denise's mother who lost her battle with cancer in 2007.
