(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Denise Richards has jokingly told her daughters to expect their biggest Christmas gifts from their father Charlie Sheen.

The 39-year-old actress was married to the actor for four years before they divorced in 2006. They have two daughters together; six-year-old Sam, and Lola, five, and apparently the little girls are keen to receive some rather expensive items this festive season.

Denise has teasingly told her children to expect their most extravagant Christmas presents when they stay with their father.

They want a lot of stuff like a little pink car each that they can drive. But for those bigger items I'm like, 'Maybe Santa can bring those to your dad's house, she laughed.

Denise adores the holidays, and thinks its the ideal time to spoil her loved-ones. She finds it magical that her daughters still look forward to Father Christmas visiting.

"They've made their list," she beamed. They have so many lists going but it's fun. I love that they believe in Santa.

Despite their split, Denise and Charlie are remaining on good terms for the sake of the children. The family spent the Thanksgiving holiday together and had a wonderful time.

"He came over for Thanksgiving. It's definitely important for everyone to enjoy the holidays together. It's great for the kids, she previously said. (C) Cover Media
