Down with disappointment due to the failure of his recent release, 'Maappillai', Dhanush had clearly stated that his upcoming films are complete commercial entertainers.

'Maappillai' was produced by Sun Pictures that flopped and filmmaker Sooraj was heavily criticized for his amateurish gestures. And as far as Actor Dhanush is concerned, he has definitely learned his lessons. Unlike his last flop, his upcoming films are of two different genres meant for lovers of commercial cinema and multiplex audiences, respectively.

Director Hari's 'Vengai' will be a commercial drama laced with action, romance and comedy while Selvaraghavan's 'Erandam Ulagam' will be a hi-tech romantic drama with an unusual story in the backdrop.

Dhanush makes it clear that 'Erandam Ulagam' is completely for multiplex audiences while for 'B' and 'C' centres, 'Vengai' will be the preferred treat.
