Dhanush, the National Award winning actor, proved himself as a lyricist by penning down the chartbuster track 'Why this kolaveri di' and also a few songs for the movie 'Mayakkam Enna'.

Now he has taken the pen again, this time for his production venture 'Ethir Neechal'. The film is directed by R.S. Durai Senthilkumar, a former associate of Balu Mahendra and Vetrimaaran.

Starring Sivakarthikeyan and Priya Anand in lead roles, the movie is taking shape fast. Without a doubt it will have music by Anirudh Ravichander.

"Dhanush has come out with lyrics for two songs. They are catchy and gripping. The audio will be released soon and the film will hit the screens by the end of this year", sources say.
