Karan Johar's Dharma Productions banner has begun the countdown for its next 'Kesari' by releasing 3 videos giving a glimpse of movie and the actor. The first video opens with a mob heading towards a fort and man holding a circular weapon (Chakram) in his one hand and blazing hot sword in his other hand as he sees them coming forward. The second video has a solider set on fire marching towards the Afghan army fully equipped with guns keeping them stunned with his appearance (Click here to watch the video), while the last and third video unravels Akshay Kumar's first look from the movie as he orders to attack the 10,000 Afghan army who are set to invade them (Click here to watch the video).

This Akshay and Parineeti Chopra starrer is based on the Batttle of Saragarhi which took place in 1897 where 21 Sikh soliders bravely fought against 10,000 Afghan invaders. Akki had teased the audience with a picture on Twitter along with a caption that read, "Aaj meri pagdi bhi Kesari, jo bahega mera woh lahoo bhi Kesari, aur mera jawaab bhi Kesari."

The audience will see Akshay Kumar in the role of Havildar Ishar Singh on the silverscreen, whereas no deets about Parineeti's role are shared by the makers till date. There are 2 more projects based on the same topic - Ajay Devgn's 'Sons Of Sardaar' and Randeep Hooda's 'The Battle of Saragarhi'.

'Kesari' is set to release on 21st March, 2019.
