The shoot for the biggest biopic of 2019 PM Narendra Modi began in Ahmedabad today. A picture from the set of the much-awaited biopic is out where producer Sandip Singh, director Omung Kumar and lead actor Vivek Anand Oberoi can be seen holding the clapperboard from the set.
The biopic has versatile actor Vivek in and as PM Narendra Modi which also stars veteran actor Boman Irani and actor Darshan Kumaar. It will traverse the journey of Narendra Damodar Modi from his humble beginnings to his years as Chief Minister onto his landmark win at the 2014 election to finally being nominated as the Prime Minister of India.
The poster of the biopic was revealed in 23 languages in early January with the tagline that says 'Desh Bhakti Hi Meri Shakti Hai'. Produced by Sandip Ssingh, Suresh Oberoi and directed by biopic maestro Omung Kumar, the film will be shot extensively in Gujarat and across locations within the country.
According to producer, Boman will give the project a "much-needed experience and depth. We are glad to welcome Boman sir as part of the cast. I believe a strong cast is a foundation to making a great film. We are very excited to have such amazing actors on board and I can't wait to begin shooting."
