(Cover) - EN Star Style - Diane Kruger does her own make-up for industry events because she knows what suits her best.

The 34-year-old was a model for several years before she turned her hand to acting. Days spent sitting in make-up artists chairs before fashion shoots mean she has learnt a lot of trade secrets, and also understands the colours and styles which look good on her skin. Diane would hate to look anything less than totally polished at a big event, so usually applies her own cosmetics.

I love to do my own make-up for red carpet events, she explained. I find that less is more in terms of foundation, etcetera for me. And who knows my face better than me? I actually own an embarrassing amount of make-up.

Diane explained she is also very careful about the clothing choices she makes. She likes to dress to flatter her figure, and dislikes outfits which are too revealing. The star wouldnt feel comfortable if she was letting it all hang out, and has come to understand the shapes and fabrics which show off her curves to full effect.

I never let clothes wear me, she told People magazine. Above all, I dislike vulgarity. Being sexy is all good, but there is such a thing as too much. (C) Cover Media
