The 93-year-old veteran actor Dilip Kumar was hospitalised in Lilavati hospital on April 16 due to high fever and chest infection. And now the actor is recovering now and is feeling much better.

According to the Dr. Jalil Parkar, "He is much better today. He is recovering well. We had conducted few tests and the results have been satisfactory. We will conduct few more tests with the permission of the family." The doctors also said that he will be discharged after 3 days because these days are very crucial.

Meanwhile, the actor took to his twitter handle to thank all his well wishers who prayed for his speedy recovery. The actor tweeted, "By God's grace feeling brighter and better." He further said, "Thank you all for your prayers, love and affection." Along with the tweet there was a smiling picture of Dilip Saab attached to it.

Dilip Kumar's wife veteran actress Saira Banu said, "Oral drugs would not act as fast as the IV injections, the doctors advised. Hence it became necessary to shift him to a hospital. He is recovering well and is stable by the grace of God and the care of the doctors treating him."
