Recently rumours were doing rounds that Dipa Shah of Yuddham Sei fame walked out of the sets of Sillunu Oru Sandippu after having an argument with her co-actor, Oviya.
After having her name dragged in the media, today she has come out with a statement, denying charges made against her that she had a messy fight with Oviya.
'I would like to clarify all the doubts and speculations that were raised by me walking out of the sets of Sillunnu Oru Sandhippu. As per the accusations I walked out because I had a fight with the second lead actress of my film which is not exactly the case,' she said.
According to Dipa, 'This all started when her manager came on to the sets and troubled me by barging into my caravan a few times in her absence for no reasons. I was quite surprised with his behavior and had also informed the team. But they thought he was there for her, so they said please adjust as she just had an hour of shoot.'
'She then had a pack up and started doing an interview in the caravan with cameras and I had to get ready for my shots, so I was waiting for her to finish. As she took too long I started doing my hair and makeup as I was called on the sets and I had to rush back,' she said.
The actress further said: 'Suddenly, from nowhere her manager barged into the van again and asked my staff to leave saying she was getting disturbed for which I said 'I have to go so please let me finish'.’
'Suddenly he pointed his finger at me and said 'don't show me your face'.
‘I was absolutely stunned at this behavior because quite frankly he was on my sets in my caravan which I was sharing with the second lead only because it was requested by the team as she would be there only for an hour or two.'
'So I asked him to simply go out as I was just doing my job for which he immediately tried to punch me at my face and my makeup artist just pushed him back. After all this I too was shocked and quite stunned and did not know what to do.'
'I dont think my submissive nature should be taken as my weakness by anybody and so I walked out of the van and went back to my hotel as that was the last resort. I had already complained about this and no action was taken.'
She added: 'Then the team scolded him and the actress, and made them apologize for all this and I immediately got back and we resumed the shoot. I had no intentions to create a fuss about it because I have a lot of respect for the production house and my director and his team. However I am forced to speak about all this because they have now told a whole different story to the press.'
Let us wish the issue is sorted between the two leading ladies of the movie.
