It has become a trend in Tamil cinema for the director and a music composer of a film, to go to a location abroad and come up with tunes for their upcoming or in-production movie together.

Joining the long list of Kollywood directors and music composers are - Venkat Prabhu and Yuvan Shankar Raja. The two had been to Malaysia to start composing tunes for Biriyani, which stars Karthi Sivakumar in the lead.

Venkatprabhu is basking in the glory of Mankatha, which happened to be Ajith's 50th film. The movie went on to become a huge hit and won received applaud across audiences.
