(Cover) - EN Star Style - Dita Von Teese uses men's hair dye to darken her brows.

The 38-year-old burlesque dancer and model is famous for her unique look, always appearing in public with immaculate hair and make-up and sporting a variety of traditional 1940s-style outfits.

Dita, who boasts a pale complexion and ebony tresses, says she often reaches for male grooming products to enhance her stand-out look. The star uses men's hair dye to darken her perfectly plucked brows.

"It's easy with Just For Men hair dye. I'm kind of a do-it-yourself person as far as my hair, make-up and styling go," she said in an interview with The New York Times Style Magazine. Dita, who is currently penning a book on her retro hair and make-up secrets, also revealed how she applies her signature winged eyeliner. She explained that perfect eye make-up takes practice, even for the most seasoned cosmetic experts.

"When I go a while without putting it on, it's always rough at first. But when I've been applying it daily, it's whooosh' - it goes on seamlessly," she explained. "Generally, getting that perfect, flattering line is hard! I look down into a mirror to apply it so I can see the shape and match them up better. Make sure not to pull your eyelid out at the side, because when you let go, the line will be a completely different shape." (C) Cover Media
