The country music star is renowned for her glamorous look, and always has a full face of cosmetics and her bottle-blonde hair perfectly styled when she is out and about. There are rumours the star is so dedicated to looking good she even sleeps in make-up, and she has admitted the speculation is true.

I do [sleep in it] when I am in Los Angeles and when I am in New York because I usually have to stay on high floors. In Los Angeles, with the earthquakes, I think, Oh my God if there is an earthquake I am not going out into the street with no make-up and my hair.

I always keep a little wig or my earthquake clothes next to me something I can jump into real quick and have my make-up on, she told UK television show This Morning.

Although she always looks immaculate, Dolly insists she doesnt spend hours getting ready. She uses the same cosmetics daily and knows how she likes her hair to look, so perfecting her appearance is quick. She also dislikes fussy fashion, so is able to slip on her favourite outfits in no time.

I can be ready in 20-30 minutes because I do my own make-up and I do it a certain way so I can do that very fast. The rest I just put a wig on, how long does it take to put a pair of pants and a shirt on? she added. (C) Cover Media
