(Cover) - EN Star Style - Whitney Port has revealed her music festival fashion and beauty essentials.

The 26-year-old fashionista shot to international fame in reality show The Hills, and in 2008 unveiled her own fashion line called Whitney Eve.

The style queen who is attending the annual music event Coachella this year - says the best way to get organised for a festival experience is to pack lightly and smartly. Whitney says the first rule of thumb is to wear flat shoes.

Comfortable shoes go with Converse or flats. Boots can be cute but youll end up with pretty embarrassing tan lines and they can often get a bit hot, she wrote on her blog.

The fashionista also listed a number of essential clothes items. Whitney says its best to keep pieces to a minimum so you can mix and match whilst youre there.

Flowy loose dresses. These wont take up much room in your luggage and theyre easy to move around in. Plus theyre good in the heat, she advised. I would say bring one or two pairs of shorts. Tanks and tees maybe just your favourite of each. Remember, youll only be there for three days and chances are youll wear your day outfits into the evening.

The gorgeous star warned its also important to think practically and have a healthy mix of fashion and safety in mind when packing.

[Take a] messenger bag or small backpack something that is easy to hold on to that will fit the essentials, sun screen, water bottle, camera, phone, wallet etc., she explained. A hat just one extra way to fashionably protect yourself from the blistering desert sun.

Whitney added its best to keep things simple, so your collection of jewellery is best left at home.
