(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Dominic Cooper once woke up with a therapists card in his hand after a particularly wild night out.

The British actor is known for his roles in Mamma Mia! and The Duchess, and has revealed his social life often spun out of control when he was younger. He can recall many memorable evenings spent with pals, but thinking about one in particular leaves the 32-year-old mortified.

Theyre always pretty rock n roll, but Im not always proud of that. A few years ago, I was out with a female friend, who I was filming with at the time, and we went back to hers and caused havoc, he told Company magazine.

We danced on the pool table and I accidentally threw her up in the air and she landed on a table filled with champagne bottles and glasses. She was OK, but I got asked to leave. I was thrown into a blacked-out car outside her house and woke up in some dustbins outside my house, completely naked bar a card with the number of a therapist. That was in my younger years, though.

The Hollywood star is now trying to embrace a quieter life. Dominic was brought up in Greenwich, London, and has admitted one day he would like to live someone more rural and leave the sights of the city behind.

Im trying to embrace the quieter things in life, knitting, drawing, long walks with dogs... I can do it, and even enjoy it sometimes. But its never as much fun, is it? he said. Eventually Id like to reach a point where I can leave the city and settle down. I actually love the countryside and gardening. (C) Cover Media
