Robert Downey Jr. so enjoyed dressing as a woman in his new movie he "danced and twirled" for the crew.
The actor's movie Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows hits screens later this month. It's a sequel to the 2009 film Sherlock Holmes and once again sees Robert portraying the famous British detective.
The actor had to dress as a woman for one scene in the picture and found it hugely enjoyable.
"Robert was so excited about his Some Like It Hot moment in the new Holmes movie that he'd dance and twirl around the set in a dress and make-up for the cast and crew," a source told National Enquirer.
Jude Law is again playing Holmes' sidekick Dr. Watson and also got in on the action. The two stars appear as nuns in another scene and had great fun in their costumes.
It apparently got Robert thinking about shooting a remake of 1959's Some Like It Hot, which saw Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon playing two men who dress as women to get out of town after accidentally witnessing a crime. They flee by pretending to be in a girl band.
"Now Robert is set to take Tony's role of Joe and, and Jude will have Jerry, Jack's part," the insider added.
"They're looking for the perfect actress to cast as the all-girl band's lead vocalist Sugar Kane, who was played by Marilyn Monroe."
