(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Drew Barrymore has confirmed her engagement and showed off her stunning diamond ring.

It was reported on Thursday that the actress had accepted her boyfriend Will Kopelman's marriage proposal.

A representative for Drew has now revealed she is planning to get married and a picture of the happy couple has been released.

In the photograph, Drew beams happily as she ruffles her hair and shows off the impressive engagement ring. She sits on a bench in the sunshine alongside Will, who is also smiling.

The radiant-cut diamond is just under four carats and is set on a diamond covered band. It was designed by Graff Diamonds, reports People.

Art consultant Will proposed over the holidays as the couple enjoyed a romantic break in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Drew has been romantically linked to Will, 34, since February 2011.

Rumours of an engagement have been circulating for months, after it was reported that 36-year-old Drew was keen to start a family.

"He's madly in love and knows she's The One," a source told Us Weekly.

"[They've been] yearning to get married and have kids. [Will was planning to propose] around the one-year mark of their dating."

This will be Drew's third marriage.

She previously wed Welsh pub owner Jeremy Thomas in 1994, but the pair filed for divorce just one month later.

In July 2001 Drew tied the knot with comedian Tom Green, but they had split by the end of the year.

More recently, Drew has dated actor Justin Long and The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti. (C) Cover Media
