While many filmmakers and stars indulge in petty controversies by either creating conflict rumors or linkup gossips, Filmmaker Ekta Kapoor is indulging in some social concerns to promote her forthcoming production titled 'Ek Thi Dayaan'.

Starring Emraan Hashmi, Huma Qureshi, Konkana Sen Sharma and Kalki Koechlin in the lead, the film promotions were commenced on the eve of Mauni Aasava near the holy river Ganga. And it is here she has pledged to make Ganga pollution free.

"Ganga is part an important part of our legacy. It's unbelievable that three crore litres of waste is dumped into it every day. We need to stop that and we are game for it," said Ekta.

While the team has agreed that they won't carry out any major promotional activity in the ongoing Maha Kumbh, they together have taken up the issue of clearing Ganga voluntarily.
