(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Elisabetta Canalis doesn't believe that love is the only binding force in a relationship.

The former Italian TV presenter recently broke up with Jackass star Steve-O. Before dating Steve, Elisabetta ended her relationship with George Clooney in 2011 and had a brief affair with True Blood Mehcad Brooks shortly after.

The stunning 33-year-old star doesn't believe powerful emotions can create a sustainable relationship.

"You hope love will solve everything," she told Italian magazine A. "Instead, it is not enough."

Elisabetta still respects Steve highly following their break-up. The star attributes their split primarily to the stunt artist's struggle to remain sober.

"If we went out with my friends, even the fact that a bottle of wine was on the table would be a stress," she explained. "Steve has a lot of strength and humour. It was one of the most important relationships of my life and it doesn't feel as if it is over yet." (C) Cover Media
