(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Elizabeth Hurley has reportedly been begging her estranged husband for forgiveness.

The star announced she had split from her spouse of three years Arun Nayar last week, after it was reported she had been seen in a steamy clinch with former cricket star Shane Warne. Over the weekend it was alleged Elizabeth dumped Shane after discovering he had been sending raunchy texts to another woman, and she is now said to have realised how much Arun means to her.

Liz knows she's been a fool and has phoned Arun to say sorry and beg forgiveness. But Arun wants no part of it and is still going for a quickie divorce, a source told British newspaper The Sun.

It seems Arun has already moved on, as he was spotted kissing a mystery brunette in the street. The pair had just left Scott's restaurant in Mayfair, London, when they locked lips, but were unhappy about being seen.

They panicked at being snapped together. She dived into a taxi and he drove off, a source explained.

Elizabeth took to her Twitter account to discuss her personal life over the weekend, even managing to poke fun at her circumstances. She likened the stories about her to an episode of outrageous television show programme The Jerry Springer Show.

She later hinted things were getting to her, when she told her followers she was desperate to listen to listen to some cheery music to improve her mood.

Er.....please take any mentions of me in the latest thrilling installment of the Jerry Springer-esque saga with a LARGE pinch of salt (sic), she wrote.
