(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Elle Macpherson says she always goes into business meetings with a game plan.

The 47-year-old beauty shot to fame as a top supermodel, and was nicknamed The Body in the 90s due to her incredible physique.

Nowadays the star is also celebrated as a successful business entrepreneur, as she has her own lucrative underwear label Elle Macpherson Intimates, as well as other flourishing ventures including a skincare range called The Body.

Elle believes she has succeeded in the business world because she gets so heavily involved in all her projects and always prepares well in advance for meetings with possible commercial partners.

I care. I like to be clear about what I want to achieve before a meeting. And I usually go with a game plan, she told Stylist magazine.

One of Elles latest projects is hosting Britains Next Top Model, the UK edition of the televised modelling competition originally created by Tyra Banks. Elle says she has played a huge role in the direction the show has taken, as she does with all her career choices. The Australian star is always very selective about what she gets herself involved in, so that she can dedicate her time and energy into doing it well.

For me, its about understanding the projects I undertake. It doesnt mean I have to do everything but I want to contribute to all aspects in some way. Its why I only take on a few things, she explained. (C) Cover Media
