Emily Deschanel believes her baby is "very advanced for his age".
The 34 -year-old actress and her husband actor David Hornsby welcomed their first child Henry together on September 21 of last year.
Us Weekly reports that Emily is in awe of how quickly her five-month-old is developing.
"He's wonderful!" she gushed this week during a press conference for her television crime drama Bones. "He has two teeth... very advanced for his age. I don't know if that's advanced... but it's unusual!"
Emily has been experiencing a number of bizarre circumstances surrounding babies recently. While filming the next episode of the current Bones season, in which her character Dr Brennan gives birth to a baby, the infants on set seemed to be especially eager to pass water.
"That baby [in the scene] peed on us," Emily laughed. "Henry [had] also peed on me that day... when it happened I said, 'I've been peed on today by two different babies!' "
The new mother loves the experience of caring for her son.
"I don't get a lot of sleep, but I love it," she shared. "Henry's awesome!"
The seventh episode of Bones' seventh season will air in America on April 2.
