(Cover) - EN Star Style - Emma Watson has been named Style Icon at the Elle Style Awards.
The 20-year-old Harry Potter star picked up the top award at the fashion event and was presented the gong by designer Dame Vivienne Westwood.
The actress has modelled for Burberry and is currently an ambassador for French brand Lancome. The star who was cast as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies aged just nine - said she was overwhelmed to be presented the Style Icon award and now feels pressure to maintain her fashion credentials.
It feels amazing. Fashion is something that I love. I try not to think about it too much. I try and block all that off and I just do what I love and just have fun with it. Ive definitely been feeling the pressure a bit more recently but its just fun for me, she said.
The gorgeous star showed off a dramatic change of image last year, when she cut off her long hair and styled it into a pixie crop hairstyle. Elle editor Lorraine Candy praised Emma for her individual and quirky fashion sense.
Shes got a very distinct individual look. We always say at Elle, Its not what you wear, its the way you wear it, and shes got such spirit, Emma. I think that makes her stylish.
The awards took place at Londons Grand Connaught Rooms and were hosted by TV presenter and model Alexa Chung.
Tom Ford was named top international designer while Christopher Kane, 28, was named best British designer.
Danish supermodel Helena Christensen was presented with a special award for her outstanding contribution to fashion by designer Matthew Williamson.
The best actress award went to Natalie Portman, having wowed audiences with her depiction of a troubled ballerina in Black Swan. The star was unable to attend the awards as she is heavily pregnant.
