(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Emma Watson thinks people should think more carefully before shopping, as their decisions can change the world.

The British actress is known for her love of ethical fashion, having created a line with People Tree and now with Italian designer Alberta Ferretti. She hopes by raising awareness of the importance of sustainability her fans will be inspired to start thinking about the fragility of the planet.

I think its important to be conscious of what were buying and where it comes from. As consumers, we have so much power to change the world just by being careful in what we buy, she explained to the April edition of InStyle.

Emma is renowned for portraying Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, a role which comes to an end when the final film is released later this year. She is glad to have branched into fashion now, as shes enjoying showing people she has more than just one talent.

The 20-year-old also likes having a real input into a project. She has previously admitted finding certain aspects of being in the Harry Potter franchise hard, as she wasnt allowed to do things like cut her hair.

I love having control! My job as an actress is to bring life to another persons vision, but with clothes, I can express my own creativity, she said. And I wanted to be able to buy fashion knowing that its not harming the environment. Ive always been involved in art and I love fashion its just something I really enjoy. (C) Cover Media
