After gaining the recognition as a performance based actor, Emraan Hashmi has decided to  shed  the ‘lover boy’ image that made him popular. It were his impeccable love making scenes and infamous lip-locks with almost all his female co-stars that made him a popular face with the masses. However now that he is complimented for his acting skills more than his lip-locks, he claims that  he is sick and tired of the ‘lover boy’ and ‘serial kisser’  image the media and audiences have bestowed upon him.

“In every movie and with every actress there were intimate scenes that were written in the script as they were essential for the storyline. I find it very  technical and boring” said Emraan in an recent interview.

He also confirmed that if he’s offered any such scene now, he would do it just for the heck of it, “ Doing an intimate scene for me now is all about being a thorough proffesional.”

However he knows that it would also not be right for him to totally shun the image that garnered him the fan following and popularity. He adds,“I don't regret doing those scenes because I have kissed some of the most good-looking women in my films”.
