Emraan Hashmi's 'weighty' issues

4th April 2011

After playing a dust to dawn villain in 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbai', Emraan Hashmi has yet again proved his mettle to the industry, who tagged him, a serial kisser. But as luck would have it, Emraan Hashmi once more lost on a meaty role in the sequel to the 'OUTIM' and was replaced by Akshay Kumar in the film. However, Bhatt's find, Emraan Hashmi is a strong soul and doesn't wish to give up so easily.

The lad currently has two potential films in his kitty; one being a much awaited sequel to his own film 'Murder' and another is Dibakar Banerji's 'Shanghai', where he stars along with Abhay Deol in the film. In both the films Emraan Hashmi dons two extreme looks, in 'Shanghai' he needs to looks a bit beefy, for which he was preparing to put on some weight after completing 'Murder 2', in which he dons a comparatively leaner look. Emraan was caught amidst both of these films as on the way when he had already gained pounds of weight for 'Shanghai' he was asked to shed all that for a special song n 'Murder 2'.

Now, a much evidently heavier Emraan Hashmi is sweating it out to look lean in 'Murder 2'. Poor Emraan, for his meatier roles, he has to play so much with his meatier health, which was till now at the 'pink of health'. That's the price you have to pay for being an actor, but as they say, to gain some you need to lose some.
