Choreographer turned Director Vijay's earlier films like 'Pokkiri' and 'Villu' were packed with masala and turned to be commercial movies. This time he has worked on a totally different genre, that a breezy romantic entertainer. The film was actually supposed to hit screens on Valentine's Day but the long pending release has now been confirmed for the 6th of May. The entire crew was present at the musical event of the film and following that, new promos have been launched.

It's very clear that the song 'Nangai' has been inspired by a Michael Jackson song, which has turned out to be a hit with the youngsters. With lead roles been played by Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani, 'Engeyum Kadhal' is a stylish film, shot in the locales of London, which are a visual treat for the audience. The buzz is that the director appears in a cameo role and that will add flavor to the film.
