(Cover) - EN Fashion - Erin Wasson thinks jewellery holds magical powers.

The 28-year-old American model has shot campaigns for brands including Maybelline, Michael Kors and Rolex.

She is considered one of Americas top fashion icons and in addition to her modelling work, she has also worked as a stylist and a designer and has her own jewellery collection called Low Luv by Erin Wasson.

The star says she became attracted to jewels because she thinks they have mystical strength, adding she loves how much someones accessories reveal about them as a person.

Jewellery holds magical powers. What excites me is the idea that jewellery can tell the story of your journeys, your personal history. You pick up pieces along the way, and they become a part of who you are. Its the mix thats interesting, she told the Australian edition of Harpers Bazaar.

Despite being one of Americas most successful models and being sent glamorous outfits to wear all the time, Erins favourite piece of clothing is actually a jacket shes had since she was a teenager.

My leather jacket that I have had since I was 15 years old, replied Erin, when asked what the most treasured garment in her wardrobe was. (C) Cover Media
