While former beauty queen Priyanka Chopra is known to be extremely close to her father Dr. Ashok Chopra, she is equally close to her mother Dr. Madhu Chopra as well. Though the actress is an independent modern Indian woman, she is entirely dependent on her mother for some core issues.

Apart from the emotional bond that they share, Priyanka is completely reliable on her mother to design her jewellery for most of her public appearances. Her mother decides what stones and metals she’ll flaunt at any red carpet event and hence co-ordinates with her designers from the beginning to the end.

Dr. Chopra vouches for celebrity jewellry designer Farah Khan’s designs and all of PC’s jewellry have been designed by her. Farah too confirmed that it is Priyanka’s mother who calls the shot on her looks. “I have designed a lot of pieces for Priyanka and for her events. And it’s her mother who communicates the designs and preferences with us,” said Farah.
