(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eva Longoria Parker will spend thanksgiving with her family, it has been claimed.

The actress sought to end her marriage to basketball player Tony Parker last week, citing irreconcilable differences for a breakdown in their relationship.

After she lodged her own divorce papers in Los Angeles, Tony filed his own documents in Texas. It is alleged that he had been texting a mutual friend for over a year.

And now a source close to Eva says the 35-year-old plans to try and forget about the messy split by relaxing at home for the US holiday.

Eva will be fine at thanksgiving she will be with her family and friends she is doing well right now all things considered, the source told RadarOnline.com.

Tony maintains that he knew for a while his wife was going to file because they had discussed the matter behind closed doors. However, the source says the sportsman was still shocked by Evas timing. And, although it may not seem apparent, theres a lot of anger behind the scenes.

"He didn't know she was going to do it on that day and had to hear about it from lawyers, the source added.

"Publicly they are both saying it's a friendly divorce but it has taken a very unfriendly turn." (C) Cover Media
