Eva Longoria has had a night out with ex-boyfriend Eduardo Cruz despite splitting last month, leading to speculation they have rekindled their romance.

The Desperate Housewives star and the 27-year-old were seen being affectionate with each other at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood on Sunday night, Us Weekly reports.

Sources said at the time of their breakup that it was "mutual" and they would "remain friends" but eyewitnesses at the bar claim they looked very cosy together.

"Eva and Eduardo were seated together and deep in conversation," a source told the publication adding that they just sipped on iced water with lemon. "They looked like there is still a spark there."

Another bystander told X17 that the on-again, off-again pair were "holding hands."

The couple had dated for about a year following the actress's 2010 split from ex-husband Tony Parker.

"They kept trying to make it work, but it didn't," an insider said at the time of Eva's break up from Eduardo.

The couple had been introduced by Eduardo's older sister, Hollywood star Penelope Cruz.
