It is the trio of 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' fame Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan who join hands once again for a war film titled 'Rannbhoomi'. The actor, producer and director have entertained us a lot with two of their films, but this time they have decided to mesmerize us raising the intensity meter working on a serious war film.

Though it is surprising that the trio has switched the romantic comedy genre and switching their side to a war film, 'Rannbhoomi' this will be interesting to see how things go from here on. Varun Dhawan tweeted their pic and captioned, "#RANNBHOOMI. Diwali 2020. A warrior will rise.@karanjohar @ShashankKhaitan @DharmaMovies." 

 Dharma Production's official twitter handle announced the news via Twitter with the pic of the trio that captioned ''Booking you guys for DIWALI 2020  with #RANNBHOOMI - a big war film starring homeboy @Varun_dvn This time, the men from 'Dulhania series' take a giant leap in their 3rd offering into a solid spectacle with a beating heart! More soon! @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @ShashankKhaitan." 

Right now both Shashank and Karan's upcoming project is set to release this year. The director-producer duo is all set to release the Bollywood remake of Marathi blockbuster superhit Sairat, titled 'Dhadak' in Hindi. Moreover, Karan Johar is returning on-screen as an actor with 'Welcome To New York' featuring Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh.
