(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eva Longoria has found a new project as her role on Desperate Housewives comes to an end.
The 36-year-old actress has sold a legal drama to the CW network which she will executive produce rather than her usual job of being in front of the camera.
She has sold the script for Vega v. Vega which is about a "brilliant, young, successful lawyer who suddenly finds herself forced to go into a practice with her mother," The Hollywood Reporter states adding that drama ensues in the love/hate relationship between the two attorneys.
The starlet has also sold a comedy about two Latina sisters called Behind the Seams which will be produced from Eva's production company called UnbeliEVA-ble Entertainment.
Her personal life is also going great and she recently opened up about her relationship with Eduardo Cruz, Penelope's younger brother, and said how happy she is to have found him.
In an interview with Spanish Vanity Fair, Eva says she is grateful to have found love again after divorcing basketballer husband Tony Parker earlier this year.
"Love did not work with that person. But it can work with another," she told the publication. "The only thing I will say is I was very lucky to find Edu."
The couple began dating last winter and have been steady ever since. They travelled to Spain during the summer to visit with Penelope and her family and made a trip to Miami together last month. (C) Cover Media
