Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are in the infancy of their romance but their mothers are apparently making grand plans for them.

The couple flew their mums to Thailand for a visit while he filmed his upcoming movie Only God Forgives.

And Star magazine claims that the two women hit it off very well and now want the pair to hurry on down the aisle.

"Before long, Ryan's mother, Donna, and Eva's mom [also named Eva] were chatting about how they'd love to see them get married and have kids," the insider revealed.

But there may be a hitch in their plans because Eva has proclaimed in the past that she doesn't "wanna have kids I love sleep so much, and I worry about everything."

Eva is also not big on marriage saying she felt it was a "very archaic kind of thing."

But her mother apparently thinks that Ryan is the perfect man to change her mind about these issues.

"She thinks Eva and Ryan are a great couple," the source added. "And she and Donna want a grandchild soon!"
