Diana Hayden delivers a baby girl at the age of 42 via an egg freezing method. Former beauty queen and actress took a very wise decision of freezing her eggs eight years ago at a hospital in town.

Diana has named her daughter Arya, who was born on January 9, 2016.

Explaining about the technique Gynaecologist Nandita Palshetkar said, "It was a concept being adopted very rarely by working or professional women who do not want to be mother at the age of 30 or something. But delivering a baby at 42 (years of age) is something amazing and we feel extremely excited."

"Birth of Diana's daughter would be a big boost to working women that egg freezing really works and could be of help to them, especially to Indian women who often juggle between career and the ticking biological clock."

Nandita, who had frozen Diana's eggs eight years ago in her clinic asserted that both mother and daughter are healthy and fine.
