Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan's Hollywood dream has finally come true and in a big way. Shahrukh has been officially declared as a part of Paul Schrader's 'Xtreme City' that will also star Leonardo Dicaprio. Shahrukh was earier offered Anil Kapoor's role in the oscar winning 'Slumdog Millionaire' but he declined the offer. After much talks he is now confirmed to be a part of the film that is very much unlike 'Slumdog Millionaire'. Danny Boyle showed India as a poor country but Paul's Xtreme City will show Mumbai with all its colours. Paul says, "There will be at least five songs and dances in the film, typically Indian stuff. This will attempt to be the first crossover potboiler.A Bollywood potboiler used to have a dozen songs earlier, a comedy had around eight...I think now it can be five and we are safe." The story of the film goes like that a former U.S. ranger whose sister-in-law is kidnapped by a crime lord in Mumbai teams up with an Indian commando to rescue her. Sounds interesting and we hope that Shahrukh may also end up winning an Oscar for this one.
