Anushka and Amy Jackson will play the female leads while Santhanam will take care of the comedy and G V Prakash Kumar will score the music of this film, directed by Vijay.

According to Dhananjayan, the southern head of UTV Motion Pictures which is producing the movie, "Vikram plays the character of Shiva. Hence, it is going to be 'Shiva' Thaandavam in the film. Do look out for his looks and action."
