Vishal is working hard for his forthcoming film Samar, which features him in the role of a forest trekker. The movie is Directed by Thiru, who made his debut with Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai.

Says the director, 'Vishal is playing Sakthi, who is a forest trekker by profession and passion. From Ooty, he goes to Bangkok for a personal reason.'

The young filmmaker adds, 'Only after reaching Bangkok Vishal finds that a trap has been laid against him and he is being operated by someone else, without his knowledge.'

'How he thwarts the attempts of evil elements and how he comes out from troubles is the crux of Samar,' concludes Thiru. The movie has Trisha and Sunaina as heroines.
