It is Harshvardhan Kapoor's upcoming superhero movie titled 'Bhavesh Joshi Superhero', the actor's second film after his debut in 2016 with Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra's 'Mirzya'. The action film is helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane and not much info regarding the movie's plot is given away.
Harshvardhan Kapoor tweeted about the film that read,"Bhavesh Joshi patchwork done. It's been an epic journey shooting this film with Vikramaditya Motwane. It's taken us two whole years with lots of ups and downs. It was an ambitious idea and required a lot of sacrifice and hard work, patience. Lesser walked paths always tough." The actor is paired opposite to Saiyami Kher in the film. Interestingly, Kher was paired opposite Kapoor in Mirzya as well.
Although, his debut film didn't do well at the box-office to which Harshvardhan said, "Every film has its own destiny. I feel Mirzya is a work of art. It is a beautiful film and it will find its place in course of time."
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old is lined up to play the lead role in the biopic on Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra. In the film, he will star with his dad Anil Kapoor. The biopic will be directed by Kannan Iyer. The film is based on Abhinav Bindra's autobiography 'A Shot at History: My Obsessive Journey to Olympic Gold'. Talking about his current project Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, the film is slated to release on May 25.
