While the audience is yet to get over Simmba's fever, makers of Ranveer Singh's next dropped his first look poster announcing the release date. Posters of Zoya Akhtar backed 'Gully Boy' starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, musical drama were unveiled on Wednesday.

Three posters were unveiled as we step into 2019, first poster has Ranveer sporting a hoody with ear-plugs with backdrop of Mumbai Slums. Whereas, the second poster has the leading duo sharing an earphone to listen to music. Poster has a tagline, "Apna Time Ayega." And the third poster has the actor facing his back towards the camera. 

Sharing the poster Ranveer wrote, "The voice of the streets. #GullyBoy #14thFeb @ritesh_sid @zoieakhtar @faroutakhtar @excelmovies #TigerBaby @aliaabhatt @zeemusiccompany"

Meanwhile Alia kept it short and sweet, "Gully Boy❤️🎧 #14thFeb #ApnaTimeAayega"

The posters were also shared on the official Instagram handles of Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Excel Entertainment.

Before its scheduled release which is February 14, the movie will be screened at Berlin International Film Festival between Feb. 7 to Feb. 17. It also stars Amruta Subhash, Vijay Verma, Vijay Raaz, Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Kalki Koechlin. It is based on underground rapper who rose against all odds to become famous, Vivian Fernandes popularly known as Rapper Divine.

During an interview with a leading news agency, Zoya said, "I'm really looking forward that the film will take hip hop to each and every corner, street and village in this country. I want to see more of our youth take up the mic or learn to play an instrument or produce beats and do something different in their careers. The film is inspired by the Mumbai hip hop community and it's amazing how far we have come in the last few years. With this film, it seems the journey has only begun."
