(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Florence Welch doesnt feel ready to appear on Dancing with the Stars yet.

The British star is best known by her stage name Florence and the Machine, and performed her track Dog Days Are Over on the American talent contest on Tuesday. The show sees a number of celebrities teamed up with professionals to learn dance moves, but Florence doesnt think she would do that well if she was to take part.

I don't think I'm quite ready for it yet, she laughed, when asked if she would consider competing.

Tuesdays performance was the first time Florence and the Machine had performed acoustically on American television. The rendition was given an eerie quality thanks to smoke which engulfed the stage, with the haunting performance leaving the audience spellbound.

Florence was delighted with how well it went, especially as she had been fearing the worst.
