Yami Gautam, who played the lead in the latest hit 'Vicky Donor', has been high on luck ever since. She has earned quite a lot of recognition for her performance in the movie.
Currently, she is busy working on her bilingual film 'Gauravam', that will be shot in Telugu and Tamil with Allu Sirish playing the lead role. It is heard that the movie-makers are shifting dates due to the actress finding it difficult to speak the langauge. Hence, they want to give her some time to get comfortable with her dialogues.
But being a true professional, the actress decided to take this up as a challenge and instead of taking classes and delaying the time on learning the language, she decided to learn it on the sets itself. She sat with the team and worked on her lines till she got them right. By the end of it she was able to deliver the dialogues as a pro and had impressed everyone on the sets.
When Yami was asked about the experience of doing a film from the south, here's what she had to say, "Being a North Indian, it was quite a challenge to learn Tamil and Telugu but I was really determined to get the basics right. Also I'm grateful that the team has been very supportive."
