Gautham Menon earlier had plans of making his next Telugu movie with Ram. But now he has changed his plans of casting him in the Tamil version as well. Earlier plans were to sign Karthik Kumar of 'Kanda Naal Mudhal' fame. The project was confirmed on day before yesterday as producer Bellamkonda Suresh agreed to produce the film. The Tamil version will be produced by Gautham Menon's home banner Photon Kathaas Factory. Samantha of 'Ye Maaya Chesavo' is expected to play the female lead role. Manoj Paramahamsa will handle cinematography and academy award winner A.R. Rahman will score music for both the versions. It looks like Gautham Menon will give up his plans of remaking 'Ye Maaya Chesavo' in Hindi as Pratheik Babbar is busy now promoting his upcoming Hindi film 'Dhobi Ghat'.
